Sprint has a couple new BlackBerrys heading its way, according to a recently-leaked spreadsheet, along with a mysterious LG Optimus Slider.
The BlackBerry Bold 9930 is the CDMA version of the Bold 9900, which we just heard might get its release date pushed back to September. Here we can see that Sprint is expecting the 9930 for August 21; we haven’t specifically heard that the 9900 delay, if true, would also affect the 9930, but considering the hardware similarities, there’s a good chance it might. At the very least, it looks like Sprint will be getting the smartphone sometime in late summer.
The other new BlackBerry on the list, the code-named-Monaco 9850, is now identified as a Torch. We had heard that rumor recently, and now there’s a little more evidence in support of it. Unlike the Bold 9930, there’s no estimation in this Sprint roadmap for when the Torch 9850 might arrive.
Besides the BlackBerry news, the leaked Sprint doc mentions the LG Optimus Slider LS700 (AKA, the Gelato Q) coming to the carrier on September 11. That sounds a bit like the QWERTY-adorned Optimus Chat C550, but it could be based on more recent hardware. A recent T-Mobile roadmap leak mentions the LG Gelato Optimus II; could these both be referring to some sort of Optimus 2X QWERTY slider? Right now, we just don’t know, but we’ll be looking for more information on this phone as we get the chance.
