We knew Sprint was preparing to start capping mobile hotspot date since last month but according to a recent official carrier document, it will unfortunately become a reality starting November 2011.
If you are currently using a Mobile Hotspot add-on on your smartphone, your data usage is combined with your phone’s data usage. Starting November (or more exactly, your next bill following notification), your data allowance while using mobile hotspot will be limited to 5GB consisting of 3G data or combined 3G/4G usage, according to your device’s capabilities. Anything beyond will be charged $.05/MB. For more details (as well as data concerning mobile broadband customers) follow the source link!
