Canadian wireless carrier Rogers will be the first North American carrier to be carrying the multimedia-centric Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, an Android handset that sports the same 16:9 480 X 854 resolution FWVGA screen that is found on the Motorola Droid on Verizon Wireless. The device will most likely arrive in subsidize format with a contract agreement on Rogers in the second quarter:
“At Rogers, we have built our legacy on innovation, bringing the most exciting and exclusive handsets first to customers in Canada,” said John Boynton, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Rogers Communications. “We are thrilled to be the exclusive Canadian carrier to offer this phenomenal mobile entertainment device.”
