It looks like the Samsung Wave S8500, announced at Mobile World Congress, is now arriving on UK shores. The S8500 runs Samsung’s proprietary Bada smartphone operating system and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. The device costs £369.99 unlocked or is available for substantially less subsidized on T-Mobile UK.

Other notable hardware features of the Wave include a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording–similar to the Android-based Galaxy S, DivX support, Bluetooth 3.0, a Super AMOLED touchscreen display, and GPS.
