T-Mobile USA has long been rumored to be getting the Samsung Galaxy S and now the latest rumor has it that T-Mobile‘s carrier version will be called the Samsung Vibrant. The Vibrant would be a fitting name considering the vibrant 4.1-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display along with the skinned TouchWiz UI and Samsung’s proprietary widgets and customizations.
The Galaxy S Samsung Vibrant for T-Mobile will follow the carrier’s customization on pre-loading services onto the devices. Like the Windows Mobile HTC HD2, T-Mobile will also bring an e-reader service to the device, this time from Amazon instead of Barnes & Noble, as well as a movie–Avatar, and a game–The Sims 3.
The Vibrant will join Sprint’s rumored Galaxy S Pro and AT&T’s announced Samsung Captivate. The Galaxy S has been rumored for all four major US carriers so we’ll have to wait and see if Verizon Wireless will announce its own carrier variant.
