Research in Motion recently announced that it had shipped 11.2 million BlackBerry smartphones the last quarter; the number brings RIM’s smartphone total to 100 million BlackBerry devices shipped. During a conference call, the company also hinted that there will be two additional BlackBerry models ready for shipment in the near future–one in summer and another for fall. Of the two, one of the devices is widely believed to the BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider smartphone that is believed to be hitting AT&T soon.
