It’s now official for GSM watchers of the webOS Palm Pre as AT&T and Palm have finally announced pricing and availability for the upgraded GSM Pre Plus model that will come mid-month. On May 16th, users who want the sliding webOS model can pick one up for $150 from the carrier on contract. The high price actually includes a free inductive Touchstone charger for the device for a limited time.
AT&T hasn’t made mention of the mobile hotspot app that debuted with Verizon Wireless, but considering that AT&T hasn’t released iPhone tethering in almost a year now, I wouldn’t hold my breath on the tethering feature.
