Nokia has launched the X7 smartphone back in April — along with the Nokia E6 — which was the first to come out of the box running Nokia’s latest version of Symbian, Anna.
The Nokia X7 is referred to by the manufacturer as being an entertainment smartphone. It sports a 4-inch capacitive AMOLED display with an nHD resolution of 640 x 360 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, eight-megapixel camera with full focus and dual LED flash with 720p video recording capability, 8GB memory card pre-installed, up to 350MB built-in memory, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a 1200mAh battery.
First impressions?
- Great build quality
- Feels good in hand
- Seems heavy but feels light in hand
- High quality materials
- AMOLED screen offers great contrast, as you’d expect
- Excellent sound volume and quality with the built-in speaker
- Awkward way to insert/eject SIM card and microSD memory chip
