The Nokia Oro is your Limited Edition Nokia C7 dressed in gold, leather and sapphire. We told you about Nokia’s plans with the Oro and it looks like the Finnish phone maker is officially introducing the Oro.
The smartphone is dressed up in premium materials of leather and 18 carat gold plating, with a menu key of sapphire crystal. Underneath is your Nokia C7 — Astound in the US — and it’s running Symbian Anna OS for Nokia. It’s got an eight-megapixel camera with dual led flash and HD video recording capability and a 3.5-inch capacitive AMOLED display. The price? Around 800 EU (around $1,122) or so but that’s no a problem if you really want to flash a Limited Edition golden Nokia, but you’ll have to import it from its main markets: Middle East and Russia. It will still be available though in selected countries across the Europe, Eastern Europe, China and the Middle East in Q3 2011.
