A couple of blurry images yesterday gave us an introduction to, assuming the images are legitimate, four upcoming Symbian handsets. With 1GHz processors, the group represents a significant step up in processing power for the platform. That leak was preceded by the release of pictures of what’s suspected to be one of the handsets. Now images of another have emerged, the Nokia 700 Zeta.

The 700, from the specs revealed yesterday, has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen. The tipster behind these new pics identifies the 700′s resolution as Nokia’s nHD 640×360. We couldn’t see what the smartphone’s camera’s resolution was supposed to be on the specs page, but now we can see five megapixels clearly marked on handset’s back.

Some of these images show off the updated Symbian Belle operating system, as we expected to find on the handset. Apparently the 700 measures about 10mm thick, which may be quite thin, but doesn’t seem to mesh with the claim of the 700 being “the thinnest smartphone…” from yesterday’s document. There may have been more text qualifying the statement that got cut off, though, because we see thinner phones all the time.

The 700 Zeta should also have NFC, HSUPA/HSDPA, and a 1080mAh battery.
