If you’re debating which phone to get between the Google Nexus One with its 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display and the Motorola Droid with its 3.7-inch 16:9 FWVGA LCD screen and are concerned about screen quality in direct sunlight, you may want to check out the following YouTube video. In regular, indoor lighting, the AMOLED screen should make the colors pop more on the Nexus One but in direct sunlight, the screens are almost comparable, with the Nexus One screen seemingly a bit brighter in the video.
The reviewer did mention in the video that the LCD screen showed a smoother image while the Nexus One display pictures, which at times, may show pixels and appear pixellated.
