The keyboard-less Milestone XT720 looks a lot like the next-generation Droid 2 in terms of specs, but shares a similar form factor to the tablet-shaped smartphone Motoroi release in China. The device has 720p HD video recording at 24 fps, an 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, an ARM Cortex A8 processor that clocks in at 550 MHz, and 3.7-inch FWVGA screen like the original Verizon Wireless Motorola Droid.

Motorola’s not talking about the US market, though the Milestone XT720 should fall in the Milestone lineup for Europe. Hopefully, since the Milestone is the Droid equivalent for Europe, we’ll see a Droid tablet soon in the US.
