Microsoft has released the Bing for Mobile application for devices running Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS platforms and even did a great job in updating it. Again, the software is being updated for the two mobile operating systems and HTML 5 is on-board.
The new version supporting HTML 5 delivers “consistent and fast mobile search experience whether you’re using m.bing.com from your browser or the Bing app”. In addition to HTML 5, the Bing for Mobile update also brings maps/list split view, deals, video domain, and transit/real time. The app is currently available only in the U.S. for iPhones and select Android devices with plans for later availability on BlackBerry and Windows Phone.
