LG hasn’t exactly been shy about its lineup of phones for MWC, revealing a slew of them already, and we’ve even got the chance to see some hands-on video of the hardware. Could what we’ve seen so far be giving us a false sense of victory, and LG has some more secrets it’s been keeping held much closer to its chest? That’s the latest the rumor, tying LG to another company’s work we were expecting to see at the expo.
According to the rumor, LG will have some hardware for the MWC that it’s put together with Mozilla to act as a developer’s tool for Boot2Gecko. In addition to announcing the hardware at the show, LG may be ready to start selling the handset as soon as next week. Mozilla has confirmed that it will be revealing multiple Boot2Gecko partners at MWC, so there’s certainly the chance that LG is one of them. This hardware rumor is a bit out of left field, though, so we’ll need a bit more convincing first.
