In this video we get to hear from Alfredo Patron (he’s the Director of EMEA Mobile Communications Business at Microsoft) about some more particular of Windows Phone 7. While the video doesn’t reveal nothing new, it provides some insight into the genesis of the new platform. We find him to use the word “different” many times in trying to explain what Microsoft set out to create with WP7. Also, he said that having devices ship much later this year will allow Microsoft to work closely with partners to come out with compelling hardware options.
