Are you ready to see what’s next from HTC? That’s just what the company promises to deliver at an upcoming press event, notifications for which are just going out now. The fun is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 12 in London. What could HTC be planning to reveal?
Just last week we spotted the EVO 3D in what looked like a GSM configuration on the company’s site. At the time, HTC was denying that such a phone existed, though pre-orders and the enthusiastic tweets of HTC France left us unconvinced. Could this event be to properly announce the non-Sprint version of the EVO 3D?
We’ve certainly been hearing a lot about the HTC Pyramid lately, and the recent arrival of some new pictures of the smartphone has our interest piqued. We were expecting it to be a T-Mobile exclusive in the States, but again, this event could be an opportunity to debut the phone and reveal what European carriers have in store for it.
Who knows; maybe we’ll see something new altogether. Windows Phone 7 hardware, perhaps? Maybe the event will be tablet-centric, showing off the Flyer. While taking place in Las Vegas instead of London, Microsoft’s MIX conference also starts on April 12; could the timing be related? In a little under two weeks, we’ll have our answers.
