It is rumored that T-Mobile and HTC will be releasing an HSPA+ smartphone that will utilize the carrier’s 21 Mbps 3G network. T-Mobile has been promoting its network as having 4G-like speeds in response to Sprint’s aggressive 4G WiMax plan that began with the HTC EVO 4G. Now, T-Mobile will push the boundaries with a 21 Mbps with an HTC smartphone due for September and another device in the fourth quarter. No details were given on the smartphone, though the dubious timing has many believing it will be the HTC Vision, which runs on Android and will be a high-end phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode.
