According to HTC, most of the manufacturer’s Android phones launched in 2010 will receive an upgrade to Android 2.2, which Google had announced at its I/O 2010 conference. The company says it is working on upgrades for the HTC Droid Incredible and the HTC Desire with other handsets that aren’t yet released to follow, which sounds like the Sprint EVO 4G will also be included in the mix to get Froyo. Additional information and specific devices to get Froyo from HTC will be forthcoming closer to release, which is expected later on in the year.
Froyo will bring a number of new features to Android handsets, but for those who are interested in Flash videos, Froyo is a must for Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
