The HTC Shift was one of the most interesting hybrids to come around when it was released back in 2007. It could run both Windows and Windows Mobile, making it a versatile mobile device that could act as a smartphone or a full-fledged laptop. Since its release, we’ve seen some users successful install Windows 7 onto the platform (it originally ran Vista). But how about OS X? Sure, why not? An enterprising user at XDA has successfully loaded OS X onto his Shift, and has provided detailed instructions on how he did it. The user cites that pretty much everything is working except for WiFi and the fingerprint scanner. Fun!
