The Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus, which is now available exclusively on Verizon Wireless, may be making its way into GSM form for AT&T and a global release in the future according to some testing information. At CES this year, AT&T had stated that it will be getting two webOS devices, though which devices were not disclosed. It would make sense that the upgraded Plus models would be a hot commodity for the GSM markets as both the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus improves on their non-plus models from Sprint, with the former adding double the RAM and double the storage while the lesser expensive brother gained WiFi in the new moniker.
The GSM Plus models were found making its way through a testing and certification company with the model numbers P101UNA and P121UNA. Hopefully, these models will make it through the FCC and into AT&T’s system soon in the US.
