If you’re not on a corporate Exchange sync service for your calendar and contacts, you may be interested to know that Google has released Google Sync to keep those important personal information in sync. Right now though, according to Engadget Mobile, Google is adopting Exchange ActiveSync technology for Google Sync. However, there is a “but”–a downside, if you will. The big but here is that Google only syncs in one direction, replacing all existing data on your device with that on Google’s servers. That said, if you make changes on your device, it will update on Gmail.
