An year ago, just two weeks shy, Google has released its Google News page redesign for iPhone, Android, and Palm smartphones and recently the Company updated its news reader page for mobiles bringing new goodies to the table.
New usability and visual enhancements have been introduced to the page display which is still advertised for the above mentioned platforms and handsets plus the already implemented Blackberry, Windows Mobile, and Symbian S60. Improvements include an expanded story screen real-estate making tapping on articles easier and more accurate as well as an initial collapsed story view as opposed to the old expanded one, in order to reduce scrolling time and hassle. In order to access the redesigned page, point your mobile browser to news.google.com.
