Google continues to fine-tune the Google+ user experience, hoping to stand out amongst competing social networking services. That means collecting lots of user feedback and being diligent with updates, trying to find the best way for all the service’s features to play together. We’ve seen plenty such changes towards the end of last year, and now the updates keep coming, with Google introducing a couple new features to the mobile web version of Google+.
While a high count of +1s easily lets you know when a post of yours is popular, you might be curious as to just who your biggest fans are. With this update, you can now access a list of who +1′d posts as they appear in your stream by clicking on the current tally.
This revision sees the removal of the Incoming column, and adds one called What’s Hot instead. Just as you’d expect, it displays the day’s hot topics that are currently trending.
For now, these changes are just to the mobile web version of Google+; both the Android and iOS Google+ apps should see them arrive in a future update.
