We were at several sessions of Windows Phone 7 Series development at the Game Developers Conference and were able to capture some video of what Microsoft is unleashing onto developers prior to MIX10. In this first of a series of video, you’ll be able to get a sense of Xbox Live on Windows Phone 7 Series. We’ve extracted the relevant speech for consumers to understand and trimmed out a lot of the technical stuff–you can learn more about the technical stuff at MIX10.

Developing for Windows Phone will be done either in Silverlight or on XNA Studio 4.0. At GDC, Microsoft was encouraging people who want a head start to begin using XNA Studio 3.1 and port to XNA Studio 4.0 when that becomes available.
