Garmin-Asus Partnership to Standardize on Windows Mobile, Android

Asus and Garmin, the firms behind the Nuvifone partnership, have announced that they their often delayed phone will make it to the market in a few months, or about a year since the phone’s planned release date. However, moving forward, Garmin and Asus have announced that they will not be using the proprietary operating system that the first release will have. Rather, the firms will be standardizing future Nuvifone projects on Windows Mobile and Android operating systems.
