AT&T will soon add another Android device to its lineup, which thus far includes the Motorola Backflip. The second device, called the Dell Aero, was popularly referred to as the Dell Mini 3 with a customized UI.
There isn’t much information right now for the Aero in the press release, and AT&T’s microsite for the device doesn’t seem to be functioning yet at the time of this piece going live, but you can check back there when the microsite is live for more details. A promotional picture of the device–complete with AT&T branding–can be found on the carrier’s Facebook page.
Neither pricing nor availability is known at this time, but the official carrier announcement hopefully means that a release will be coming soon.
AT&T’s Android commitment was first made known at CES–the carrier had announced that 5 devices will be forthcoming. So far, the Dell Aero will be the second Android smartphone on AT&T’s lineup this year.
