In terms of specs, the Galaxy S II is better-equipped than the iPhone 4S. It has a faster CPU, and more RAM. While the display of the Galaxy S II is 0.8″ larger than that of the iPhone 4S, it’s got a much lower pixel density at 216ppi vs 326ppi.
