Bell is set to release two new smartphones in the first week of November according to a couple of leaked memos sent to BGR. According to the leaked material, first to launch will be the BlackBerry Bold 9780 on November 2nd, followed 24 hours later by the HTC Desire Z.
We already knew the Desire Z was on its way to Bell. It is an Android 2.2 device with a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen, slide out full QWERTY keyboard, 800MHz Qualcomm Processor, five-megapixel camera with flash, HD video recording, 802.11b,g,n and HSPA+ cellular data.
The off contract retail price for the handset will likely be $499.99; no further details were given on subsidized pricing with a contract.
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be available in black and white variations and will be running the latest version of the BlackBerry OS (OS6). Specification highlights include a 2.4-inch HVGA display (480 x 360), 624MHz Processor and a five-megapixel camera with flash.
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 will likely carry the same retail price as the Desire Z at $499.99.
