Imminent may mean a few months away, especially when we’re dealing with carrier certification, but the HTC Diamond2 Windows Phone sporting Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional just cleared a first hurdle with FCC approval for use in the States. Of course, the North American version will come with compatible 3G radio frequency support.
The Diamond2 will be an interesting device, effectively competing against the much-hyped and well received Samsung Omnia II that Brandon is reviewing. For continuing Omnia II coverage, tune in to pocketnow.com or visit us on
The Diamond2 is codenamed the Warhawk. We should probably see this device this Fall on AT&T.
