Android App Inventor is bringing the app creation process closer to mere mortals and not just geeks by delivering a browser-based web creation engine that’s removed from codes. Google’s removing the geekery out of creating your apps so you don’t need to know any programming; all would-be developers need to do is to drag and drop tiles for the UI for how they want their apps to look and also add in the specific functionality, like enabling GPS or accelerometer usage.
To get started, all you have to do is sign up with Google and wait for approval.
Once you get going and have a finished product you want to sell, you can submit your app to Android Market for a $25 fee and start to monetize.
