Burned through Rovio’s Angry Birds Seasons Easter update within days (heck, maybe even hours) and looking for a new fix? You could take the extreme route and plan to pick up a Samsung Infuse 4G on AT&T when it comes out May 15, in order to get at its pre-loaded copy of Angry Birds with an Infuse-exclusive level. If you can be just a little patient, Rovio has an update containing a new level pack in the works, planned for release as an expansion to the movie tie-in Angry Birds Rio.
The company’s released a YouTube teaser video showing off the gameplay of the update, called Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley. As should be no surprise, these levels see our our favorite pissed-off birds hit the beach, going up against a troop of mischievous monkeys. Gameplay won’t give veteran Angry Birds players any surprises, but hopefully the new puzzles will be able to keep you busy until Rovio’s next level pack comes out.
There’s no release date yet available; Rovio simply says that Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley is “coming soon”.
