Wow; that was fast! Angry Birds Seasons: Summer Pignic only hit our radar yesterday, teasing us with a short video showing off some of the new summer-themed levels for the hit game. We figured this would be no different from other times Rovio revealed some upcoming levels for one of its Angry Birds titles, and we’d be in for a couple weeks of waiting, before seeing the update start to show up on all the supported platforms. This is one of those times we’re happy to have our expectations proven wrong, since Rovio has already released Summer Pignic, giving you 30 new levels to try your skills at.
We suppose it’s only appropriate for Rovio to get these levels out now, with summer officially kicking-off yesterday. The update is already in the Android Market, as well as Apple’s App Store. Summer Pignic has a month’s worth of levels, with 30 new puzzles to work your way through, against a bright blue summer sky. If you can resists the urge to dig in now, save them for that long car ride to the beach.
Don’t forget Windows Phone 7 will be joining in on the Angry Birds action any day now, with its release planned for June 29.
