The big news for Angry Birds fans at the moment is the coming arrival of Angry Birds Space, which promises to keep things fresh with the introduction of some new gameplay mechanics, like a “lightspeed destruction” mode. The upcoming release, scheduled for March 22, has been getting some extra attention this week due to speculation about the app’s launch tie-in with Samsung’s Galaxy Note, and what it might mean for the phone’s Android 4.0 update. As we wait to get the full picture on Angry Birds Space, and how it will arrive, Rovio’s got another treat to help hold you over, releasing the latest pack of new levels for Angry Birds Seasons.
Angry Birds Seasons is getting back in the mood for spring with today’s Cherry Blossom update. The new levels have a Japanese influence to them, and Mt. Fuji looms in the background. All together, Rovio’s including fifteen standard levels in this release, along with an additional two bonus hidden levels. It doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing any new birds this time around, though.
The latest Seasons is available now in the new Google Play Store as well as on iTunes.
