With Google’s I/O Conference being weeks away, rumors are circulating that Google may introduce a new–and often requested–feature for Android–the ability to install apps, programs, and games to a removable storage card. According to a Google engineer, “Apologies, but I’m not permitted to disclose scheduling information suffice to say it’s coming soon Sorry for being vague, and thank you for your continued patience I sincerely appreciate it. Happy friday ”
Installing programs to memory card will allow users to conserve ROM storage and have a larger amount of space to install virtually as many programs as can fit onto a micro SDHC card–16 GB right now though many devices support up to 32 GB of storage memory rather than the paltry 256 MB or 512 MB supported right now by most devices.
