According to a recent Millennial Media report based on its ad network, Google Android is still the number one mobile platform while Apple remains the number one smartphone manufacturer.
Samsung had a strong third quarter with all its Android phones in that allowed the Korean manufacturer to outnumber Apple’s phones (which are only three at the moment). Despite this, Apple remains the top smartphone maker according to the most recent Millennial Media report (second comes HTC and Samsung only third) while Android is still leading the mobile platform list with its steady 56% of ad impressions in October. Second comes Apple’s iOS with 28% percent and BlackBerry with its 13%.
