The Altek Leo is a 14-megapixel shooting Android beast that packs some nice optics with optical zoom into an Android smartphone with a retractable zoom lens. Shown off at CommunicAsia 2010, the device packs a lot of features for an estimated street price of $500. Some of those feature-rich specs include: 14-megapixel CCD sensor, 720p HD video recording with up to 30 fps, 3X optical zoom with a retractable lens (just like a regular digicam!), WVGA display, Android OS, WiFi, and 3G.
According to Altek, “Most of life’s most memorable moments happen unexpectedly. Light weight and exceptional handling make it easy for users to take Leo wherever they go and capture, recall and share every special moment. The exceptionally high resolution and clarity of Leo images can help enhance those moments even further and infuse more fun and convenience into life.”
