China’s going to get a Windows Mobile Professional phone made by Philips with 1 GB of RAM it seems–that should be plenty for people to multitask, handle video decoding and encoding, and handle multimedia on the handset. The hybrid GSM- and CDMA-based phone is expected to launch on China Telecom soon as the D908. Like the HTC Pure and the LG eXpo, the D908 will also sport a 3.2-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen display. Also onboard are: 5-megapixel camera, 2 GB of ROM for storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS. No word on what processor is being used.
