Walmart to Serve Sprint WiMax

Wireless carrier Sprint is rumored to be in talks with discount chain retailer Walmart to install WiMax 4G towers at the retailer’s store locations to bring the next-generation mobile broadband technology to customers. Sprint has already begun its 4G roll-out ahead of rivals Verizon Wireless and AT&T and the latest move could add more 4G footprint, increasing its WiMax coverage map.
