The rumored Sprint HTC WiMax phone that was leaked before is getting some more substance. The second round of rumors for the HTC A9292 WiMax phone pegs the device as a fast Android-running device with a slim form factor and large screen like the Windows Mobile-powered HTC HD2. According to Engadget, the phone will run Android 2.1–like the Google Nexus One–but the device will also have HTC Sense UI running on top. The tipster mentions that it is “Snapdragon fast” but didn’t disclose what processor is powering the WiMax device. A kickstand and white color are also disclosed, along with the Supersonic codename.
