With earlier rumblings that Sony Ericsson will use other operating systems for its XPERIA line, the tech rumors have swirled about Rachel, an Android-based XPERIA model that is multimedia-centric, sporting a large capacitive touchscreen, fast Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, and an 8-megapixel camera along with the Rachel UI overlay on top of Google’s Android operating system. Looks like a non-Windows Mobile XPERIA smartphone is closer now.
Check out the UI video above and the spy shots posted below. The handset is all but confirmed, but for now, we’re still filing this under the rumor mill.
