Tomorrow will be another big day. Yesterday, we saw Samsung unveil a slew of Windows Mobile devices, including the Omnia PRO models, the Omnia II, and an Omnia LITE. Wednesday will be Sony Ericsson’s day, and the blogosphere is speculating that the Japanese-Scandinavian partnership will unveil the next generation XPERIA X2, which shots and specs were leaked recently.
The X2 will support, among many innovations over its predecessor the X1, an OLED screen, which is the backbone behind AMOLED displays. Like AMOLED displays, the X2′s rumored OLED display will not require a backlight, so it will be more power efficient in addition to rendering more vivid colors and truer blacks.
