Project Pink: Exclusive Screenshots and Details

Brandon Miniman | March 4, 2010 5:40 PM

Earlier today there was a leak of a photo of the Pure, a possible Project Pink phone. We just received a dump of files from the Project Pink ROM that gives us some screenshots and other system files that give us more information about the new product from Microsoft. Above seems to be a view of the contacts screen that lets you dial by picture (again, we’re just guessing here).

ExchangeContactHeaderLight

We found evidence that Pink may support Microsoft Exchange.

Default Lockscreen Pure

This is the default lock screen for the Pure.

Default Lockscreen Turtle

And this is the default lock screen for the Turtle.

Also included in the dump were a variety of “Cover” photos for different applications. We’re not sure if these are splashscreens that appear before an app opens, or background images. Here are a few:

CoverPagesL Contacts

This is the Contacts Cover.

CoverPagesL Phone

This one is for phone.

CoverPagesL Photos

And this one is for photos.

Other details: we see images for Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live, Yahoo Messenger, and MySpace. There are also images for an RSS reader, SMS, Search, Settings, Alarm, Browser, and several others. Most of the cover images come in landscape and portrait.

More info as we get it!

Thanks for the tip, anonymous.
