We may finally have a release date for the coveted Samsung Omnia II Windows Mobile device, which packs a delicious AMOLED display.

At a recent event organized by Samsung for certain members of the PPCSG forum members, Samsung presented bits about all three upcoming Samsung Omnia devices. We find that during the presentation, Samsung mentions a release date of 18 July for the Omnia II (which frankly seems a bit early to us). Also, they reveal a specification sheet that shows the Omnia II’s CPU running at 800MHz, instead of 667MHz as originally thought.

Also, the slides show the Omnia II rolling onto store shelves for S$898, which comes out to about $615 USD.
