It’s rumored that Nokia may soon be offering devices from a new series–the C-Series–at its announced press conference on January 26th–a day before Apple’s unveiling of some mystery products. Nokia already has the business-centric E-Series, the multimedia heavyweight N-Series, and the capacitive touchscreen X-Series (X6). The C3 and C5 mobile handsets were spotted in Indonesia, of which the C3 only offers quad-band GSM and WiFi while the C5 eschews the WiFi for a 3G radio. With compromises between WiFi or 3G, could this be a more budget-conscious “Consumer” series smartphone line?
