Specs for the Android Samsung Galaxy 2 phone look attractive, and the high-end device is expected to be unveiled in a few short weeks at Mobile World Congress. The device is rumored to have 32 GB of on-board storage, Android 2.1, and a 3.7-inch AMOLED display that should rival the HTC-sourced Google Nexus One phone.
What’s puzzling about the phone is that the Galaxy 2 is said to be using a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a chipset made by Qualcomm. Samsung also has its own chips and makes some great mobile CPUs–Samsung ARM-based chips have appeared on devices such as the Sprint Samsung Moment and the Windows Mobile Intrepid.
