AT&T HTC Pure
by Adam Z Lein on October 20, 2009
The AT&T HTC Pure was one of the first phones to be released with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system. The device was designed by HTC and is basically the same as their Diamond2, just with a different body style. It's another "slab" full touch-screen device with minimal hardware buttons and all touch input. Since AT&T never carried the original HTC Touch Diamond, the Diamond2 is a welcome addition to the AT&T line up. Read on to see whether you should choose the Pure as your next smartphone!

Acer neoTouch S200 F1
by Brandon Miniman on October 13, 2009
The affordably-priced Acer neoTouch S200 is one of the few devices out in the market to sport the new Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. What's this mean? Well, you can get technical if you want, but for the rest of us, this means faster device performance thanks in part to a tasty 1GHz CPU plus power-saving technology that sips less power than older chipsets you find in smartphones of today. That said, we were skeptical that Acer could deliver a device compelling enough for us to recommend thanks to a track record of sub-par devices with poor build quality and buggy software. Now with Snapdragon on board, has Acer gotten serious? Read on for the full review!

T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro2
by Adam Z Lein on August 12, 2009
T-Mobile USA's last attempt at a Windows Mobile Professional device was the Wing which was released in May of 2007. That's a really long time ago, and even at that time it was based on the Herald device which was very obsolete at release time to begin with. Then in September, HTC released the TyTN II, which was the ultimate PDA phone at the time. It had everything! Tilting screen, GPS, WiFi... the works! Today, we finally see an update to the famed TyTN II, and a long-overdue upgrade to the Wing on T-Mobile. The HTC Touch Pro2 is scheduled to be available on almost every carrier in various flavors. T-Mobile's version is the first to be officially released in the USA. Read on for the review!

Samsung Omnia II i8000
by Brandon Miniman on July 31, 2009
The original Samsung Omnia turned out to be one of the most popular Windows Mobile devices ever. Why? It had everything: a slick form factor, terrific multimedia capabilities, speed, extra memory, terrific photo quality, and an interesting widget interface. Samsung is back with the second iteration of the Omnia, and with many upgrades. The Omnia II i8000 sports a next-generation AMOLED high resolution display, a more deeply integrated custom interface, and a plethora of widget choices that should allow anyone to customize the home screen to their heart's content. The device has a lot to promise, but does it deliver? We've got the full review ahead.

Acer Tempo M900
by Brandon Miniman on June 15, 2009
We first heard about the Acer Tempo M900 at Mobile World Congress 2009. Many were super impressed by what looked to be a strong competitor for the also freshly-announced Touch Pro2 from HTC. The design of the M900 looked sleek, the specs sounded impressive, and the huge 3.8" screen even trumped that of the Touch Pro2 in terms of size. What's more, the device would support USA 3G bands. Though it looks good on paper, how does the M900 perform in real world testing? Read on for our thorough look at the Acer Tempo M900!

HTC Snap (HTC Maple 100)
by Brandon Miniman on June 08, 2009

But does the Snap deliver like the Dash? How does the keyboard compare to other similar devices? Read on for our detailed look at the HTC Snap!

Samsung Propel Pro
by Brandon Miniman on May 04, 2009
It was the days before the iPhone, and Cingular got it right with the BlackJack. It was among the first candybar-style messaging devices, and it was a huge hit. Cingular became AT&T, and during that time, they released the BlackJack II, which turned out to be another winner, but not as popular as the original. Getting away from the BlackJack franchise, AT&T is out with what should have been called the "BlackJack Slider" - the Propel Pro. Does this device continue the legacy of the BlackJack-like devices, or does it miss the mark? Read on for more!

Verizon Hub
by Stephen Skarlatos on April 30, 2009
The tag line for the Verizon Wireless Hub is "Welcome to the Home Phone Reinvented." This struck as funny coming from a wireless carrier and, at the same time, quite an interesting statement coming from one of the largest landline carriers in the country. Yes, Verizon Wireless is a separate company partially owned by Vodafone, but Verizon Communication is the majority owner. What is the Verizon Hub? Read on to find out!
