FILES
This category includes all the tools which allow you to manage files stored on your device. Here you can find and remove files/shortcuts with identical target using the Duplicate File and Duplicate Shortcuts tools, find and remove empty folders using the Empty Folders tool. This category also includes an advanced search tool with which you can search for files by size and name with advanced filters, the Files tool, and File Information (find information about a selected file or by user defined word).

The Move Data tool when started, displays a whole list which redirects you to the following tools: Move Application (redirects you to the Installed Programs tool), Move File, Move Folder, Move DLL (which redirects you to the Move DLL option in this category, where you can find program modules (DLL files) in the main storage and move them to another location), and Move Data (which redirects you to “TuneUP!”, where you can move cache files, temporary files and application data).

CABs Manager finds and displays cab files found on your device after which you can view their content, unpack, install or delete them. You can also manage your Messaging Files (mail bodies and attaches) and see which files and folders occupy your device’s memory using the Storage Analyzer.  Finally, Replaced ROM Files displays ROM files replaced by new ones with the same name, which you can restore to the previous installation if you wish.

INFORMATION
In this category you can all the information you need about your device and software. There are some tools here which have been mentioned in previous categories, like the File Information, Processes, CPU Usage, Storage Analyzer and Replaced ROM Files. However, it also includes a couple of neat and useful tools.

Here you can run various tests to estimate system performance using the Benchmark tool. Tests such as RAM Access (a memory access speed index test), Main Storage (file system read/write speed test), file list (examines speed of reading the list of file names on the device), etc.

If you want to view detailed information about your device, you can check it using the System Information tool. It contains detailed information about your Device, Processor, OS, Memory, Power, etc. Finally, the Events tool displays a list of events created by the system and programs.

PIM
This category includes Contacts, Appointments, Tasks and Messaging related tools. You can find and remove duplicate contacts, tasks and appointments with the tools of the same name. If you have tasks which have already expired, you can easily remove them with the Expired Tasks tool, the same goes for Past Appointments.

If you want a total clear out of your Contacts, Tasks, Calendar and Messaging Data you can do so by using the Delete PIM Information Tool.
In this category you can also find and delete your Messages, view and manage PIM Categories; manage text messages and contacts stored on your SIM, using the SIM SMS and SIM Contacts tools.

SYSTEM TOOLS
Here you can find two tools to tune your system.

The first one is “Optimize!” – includes nine tweaks which improve certain aspects of your system. Each one comes with a short description of what it does, however, if you’re not sure of what you’re doing, the tool can do it for you. In the Action menu you can find four “types” of automatic tweaking, which improve different areas of your device.  You can select Performance, Memory, Stability or Maximum Memory category and by pressing Optimize! after making your choice , your device will automatically restart with the selected optimizations applied. You can always restore your original data if you’re not happy with the changes.

The second one is the “TuneUp!” utility, which lets you modify various system options which cannot be configured using the standard Pocket PC settings interface. In most cases, this is done by modifying the registry settings. This tool is a collection of tens of tweaks in 13 categories. These categories are the following: System Memory and Speed, System Tweaks, Network, Phone Edition, ActiveSync, Colors, Fonts, PIM, PIE, Buttons, Security, A2DP and Other.

REGISTRY

Besides Invalid Registry Entries & Values scanners and the “TuneUp!” tool, you can optimize the registry size and structure (making your device run faster) using the Registry Optimizer.

If you’re comfortable dealing with registry entries there’s a Registry Explorer included and with the help of Registry Search you can find, modify and delete registry data.
