BUGS AND WISHES

The Z9 is truly a step in the right direction. The size and form-factor are brilliant, throw in voice isolation and you have a winner. My only major reservation relates to in-ear comfort, I found the earbud slightly too big for my ear canal, discomfort was noticed after wearing the headset for any extended periods of time. The battery life, whilst being a respectable 5.5 hours, could have been better. I would have liked to have seen 7-8 hours. Lastly, it takes miniUSB Type-A. This is a gripe of mine; I prefer regular miniUSB, however, it seems Type-A is becoming more and more prevalent these days.

OVERALL IMPRESSION

This is a great little headset; I feel it has the added advantages of larger headsets that employ voice isolation, but retains the beauty of the smaller form-factor. The issues I had whist testing were specific to my usage and the particular way it fitted my ear. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to recommend this device if you are in the market for a new headset; especially if you work in, or commute though, noisy environments.
