SETUP
Big Box Blocks is offered in a desktop PC installer or alternately, a CAB file.
For the PC installation method, Astraware has made it very simple to
identify your mobile device operating system.

During installation you are prompted to choose your device operating system. With graphic examples, you cant go wrong! The remaining install process is pretty familiar and straight forward. This was a first time experience for me in regards to the visual OS representation and I was quite impressed.

- Atmospheric soundtrack and effect
PRODUCT FEATURES
This is one game that offers numerous
options and configuration for users to obtain the
optimal experience. The theme here is similar to a
Tetris style game, but the action is anything but
ordinary.
"Big Box of Blox is a block stacking game taken to outrageous extremes! Using stylus or button controls, arrange the three-blox-high stacks as they fall. Match blox in groups of three or more, vertically or horizontally, to eliminate them - but that's not all!" - Astraware

From the main screen of the game you can select from one of five available game modes, level difficulty, high scores and game options.

The game options menu allows you can change the settings: music and sound volume, game controls, graphic options (background and gamma).

The options menu you can go one level deeper into the Game Options. Here you can further refine your preferences with settings for: cursor speed, stylus control, tutorial mode, skin and music selection.
Alright - now that our options are set lets jump into the game and start having some fun! I was presented with a nice getting started tutorial that explained the game controls, play concept and some great tips.
With the default settings I began playing and had no trouble with one handed operation. Using the D-Pad on my device I got into the groove of the game quickly. The background music had a good tempo to match the action and the sounds effects were crisp and not too distracting.

The games graphics are pretty clear and sharp. The overall dark contrast helps you to focus on the brighter blox pieces drifting downward from the top of the screen. There are various bonus pieces and some nice combos you can use, but you'll have to discover those yourself!
Using the default level of difficulty, I had no trouble getting started and learning the basics of the game were easy. Just when I thought it wasn't hard enough, the difficulty progressed and the game had me second guessing my skills. This was a huge benefit in my opinion because we encounter so many games that are easily mastered with little effort. I could see this wasn't the case here. In fact, its the constant challenge that made this game so addicting! When you combine that with the great graphics and sound, you simply cant put it down.

Big Box of Blox offers five different game modes and I could go on about each of them. But I thought you might enjoy discovering these modes on your own. Above you can see a sneak peak of what to expect. Fast paced action, bonus items and excellent graphics.
One feature I
really enjoyed was the ability to play a
customizable game. Registered users are able to
choose special items (blox), backgrounds\skin, music and
simple game rules.
