Well, well, well… after a month long roller coaster ride, the TELUS Touch Pro2 is officially (finally) available on TELUS Mobility’s site and is once again listed on Best Buy Canada. So this must be why Best Buy removed the TP2 page the other day. They must have prematurely posted the page and decided to be in-sync with the online TELUS launch for today.

The “Coming Soon” page on the carrier’s site has transformed and now lists full pricing and details. TELUS Mobility is offering the device for $249.99 with a 3 year agreement, $549.99 with 2 year agreement, $599.99 with 1 year agreement, and $649.99 without contract. Best Buy is only offering the 3 year and unshackled pricing options. It’s interesting to note that they fixed the horrid image on the previous Best Buy listing.

This makes TELUS the first major carrier to launch the Touch Pro2 in North America, beating T-Mobile’s approaching release date. While Canadians are now free to purchase, the rest of us are still patiently waiting.
